The heritage of Turkey Red Winter Wheat in the US can be traced back to the 1800's originating in  Ukraine.  Both sides of Kelly's family came to US from Ukraine.  We wanted to grow this heritage wheat to acknowledge his cuture.  This wheat has 12.5% protien, has a soft nutty flavor and is great in many different baking recipes
